Amazon MCF app for Shopify user guide

Download the MCF app for Shopify on Shopify’s app store. Launch the app and then log in with your Amazon seller account to automatically link your account. Use the sign in credentials for the account that you use for the selected country.

If your Shopify SKU name matches your Amazon SKU value, the app automatically maps these SKUs for you. Otherwise, you’ll need to enter the corresponding Amazon SKU for each Shopify SKU.

The MCF app for Shopify only supports the US and UK. If you’re in another MCF-supported country (Canada, Mexico, Germany, France, Italy, Spain, Japan, or Australia) and want to integrate MCF and Shopify, use a third-party integration such as WebBee, ByteStand, or Pipe17.

In the Amazon MCF app, choose Add, edit, or remove countries.

To add a country: Select the relevant country and click Connect. Then follow the steps to get started.
To remove a country: On the Add, edit, or remove countries screen, open the Actions menu (three vertical dots) for the country you want to remove and choose Disconnect country.

To modify the configurations for a specific country: On the Add, edit, or remove countries screen, open the Actions menu (three vertical dots) for the country you’d like to edit, and select the option you want to configure (SKU mapping or shipping options).

The options that show up at checkout are those that you’ve configured in your Shopify shipping profile. You can map these shipping options to MCF shipping speeds in the MCF app.

The option to block orders from being shipped by Amazon Logistics is currently only available in the US, for a 5% fee surcharge (fee waived until 12/31/2026). You can block Amazon Logistics for all MCF orders from your Amazon Seller account by going to your FBA settings, then scrolling down to Multichannel Fulfilment settings. Blocking Amazon Logistics increases the risk of your orders being unfulfiled or delivered late if there are no alternative carriers available.

MCF returns aren’t directly supported through the MCF app for Shopify. You can process returns through Shopify using the process in ‘Refunding orders’. If you want the customer to send the item directly to Amazon, learn more about the MCF return process here.

Note: The postage charges for returning the item aren’t covered by Amazon.

The MCF app for Shopify doesn’t support unbranded packaging.

Yes, you can link multiple Shopify stores to be linked, as long as they’re in a supported region.

The app doesn’t calculate shipping rates. You can configure shipping rates and can also copy existing shipping rates from your other shipping origins.

Yes, you can use the MCF app to fulfil bundles.

• Option 1: Using a bundles app in Shopify – Use any app for creating bundles in Shopify to create your bundle. MCF can fulfil any such bundles, as long as the individual bundle SKUs are correctly mapped (see ‘Map your SKUs’). You can also use MCF to fulfil part of a bundle; MCF can fulfil any Shopify SKU that’s correctly mapped to an Amazon SKU. Learn more about Shopify order routing.
• Option 2: Create the bundle in your Amazon seller account – Create the bundle in your Amazon Seller account (Seller Central or Supply Chain account). The bundle will be assigned a new SKU. Then, create a matching bundle SKU in Shopify and match the SKUs like any other product.

You can use third-party Shopify apps to automate your MCF order placement, provide up-to-date tracking information to your customers, and sync your inventory levels. (Providers include WebBee, Bytestand, and Pipe17).

If you have completed all the steps highlighted in the user guide, including mapping your SKUs and setting up shipping options, you have completed the app setup. If you want to test the app, you can create a test order and the fulfilment request will appear as ‘Accepted’ in Shopify if the test order is successful. You’ll find a corresponding order on your ‘Orders’ page in Seller Central. You can cancel your test order after verification.

There’s no option to map SKUs in bulk to Amazon SKUs. You must manually map SKUs individually to valid Amazon SKUs.

Yes, you can use Shopify order routing rules or create a Shopify Flow to set up logic to control which orders will be submitted to MCF for fulfilment.

The fulfillment fees report is only available in Seller Central for all MCF orders. A report can be extracted by logging in to Seller Central. Click ‘’Reports, then select ‘’Payments, and then select ‘All statements’. Enter a date range for your report and download the file. Next, open the file by using Excel. Column O shows the FBA/MCF fees charged for the order.

Yes, the app can support partial fulfilment of orders. MCF can ship any products that are assigned to the Amazon Fulfilment location within the order.

Yes, you can set up orders to be automatically submitted to MCF using one of the following ways:

• Option 1: Change Automatic Fulfilment settings – In Shopify admin, choose General > Order Processing > Automatically fulfill the order’s line items.
• Option 2: Shopify Flow (free of charge) – Create a workflow triggered by ‘Order ready to fulfil’ where the condition is Location Name equals ‘Amazon Fulfilment’ and the action is ‘Submit Fulfilment Request’.
• Option 3: Order Automator App (monthly fee) – Install the app and create a rule to request fulfilment to Amazon Fulfilment if the product location matches.

You can download and connect your Amazon seller account to the MCF app without inbounding inventory, but you must set up and inbound inventory to Amazon in order to proceed with SKU mapping and fulfilment.

MCF can accept orders of up to 250 units and 100 unique SKUs. For large orders that exceed these limits, you can split the order into multiple orders and resubmit them to MCF.

After your SKUs are mapped, the MCF app for Shopify pushes updated inventory levels from Amazon to Shopify.

First, ensure that you have ‘Track quantity’ checked for your product in Shopify. Also, you may be showing zero inventory if your products aren’t mapped correctly. Navigate to the SKU mapping tab, search for your product SKU, and ensure it is mapped to the correct Amazon SKU with available inventory.

No, the MCF app for Shopify displays and fulfils orders with only fulfilable inventory that’s currently available in Amazon fulfilment centres. Inbound inventory isn’t taken into consideration.

Inventory syncs automatically. If out of sync, switch the ‘Inventory located at’ value to a location outside of Amazon Fulfilment, save, then switch it back to Amazon Fulfilment and save again. This triggers a sync within 5-10 seconds.

MCF is an independent fulfilment service and has no impact or dependencies on other fulfilment services. If the inventory tracked at value is Amazon Fulfilment, Shopify fulfils the orders using the Amazon MCF location.
